I did my first fun run at run for the kids in 2011, the 5.2 k in 33:28 and then a 10k in Jan this year in 1:01:36 which was at a pace of 6.9... I just did my first half marathon on Sunday in 2:10:13 at a 6.10 pace.... Sometimes I despair a little about being a slower paced runner and wonder if I should be trying to run faster... but I remind myself how far I've come in such a short time and when I read how you aren't trying so much to be fast but actually run further, I thought WOW, that's exactly how I feel.... I too would love to complete a marathon... and 4 1/2 hours or so is actually a decent and respected time to run one in... so I'm not giving up my dream and hopefully one day I'll do it. Thanks for the encouragement. NikkiRun: My journeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14154286665116035783noreply@blogger.com
